The Grounds

The Grounds

Ever since the early 2000s, thousands of trees have been planted at Lower Lakes. In autumn 2022, over 800 trees were added, and we are eagerly looking forward to watching them grow and enhance the already stunning surroundings for our residents. There are multiple public footpaths created in the area, that is maintained by the estate and enables residents to enjoy the beautiful landscape around Lower Lakes. The aim is to make it possible to live close to the nature while still being conveniently located near shops, schools, and other amenities.

Lower Lakes got its name from the multiple large lakes you can find on the estate. From the very first step into the estate you’re taken on a narrow road between the two main lakes, before reaching the residential or commercial areas.

These lakes are open to residents for fishing, and is home to a vast variety of fish creating a vibrant eco system that makes Lower Lakes a significant contributor to the local environment.

With Lower Lakes rich wildlife, the beauty of nature is brought to our residents doorsteps. From the comfort of their own back garden, one can see a variety of bird species, such as kingfishers, herons, ducks, and swans, as they frolic in the estates lakes. If you are lucky, you may even catch a glimpse of deer, rabbits, or squirrels.
